Subwoofers
All subwoofers and mid-range use the innovative
Reverse
Neodymium Magnet Technology (RMT) System
for
flexibility of installation.
The new ACS body die-cast
aluminium basket ensures maximum stiffness and openness
for easy airflow to eliminate build-up of pressure
behind the cone.
Carbon
Fiber Cones
are chosen
for stiffness, lightweight and speed - all critical for
a speaker to reproduce audio clarity. The powerful,
custom-designed and optimized Neodymium Magnet is ten
times stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and
provides a self-shielded symmetric magnetic field for
controlled voice coil excursion.

A
Triple Reinforced Kapton Former
with flat
wire edge-wound voice coil can handle higher power while
delivering fast transients and a wide dynamic range. The
magnet system is reinforced with a specially designed
Silicon Rubber Ring which helps in damping.
The tweeter uses a
low
resonance 1" soft multi-radial Hypertex (silk) dome
resulting in high geometric stiffness and good evenly
distributed damping for extremely well-controlled and
natural high-frequency range.
A
specially designed rear chamber
prevents standing waves, cancels reflection and
dramatically increases tweeter agility.
The high-grade crossovers are designed for seamless
integration of woofer and tweeter for a flat frequency
response without dips and peaks and to protect the
tweeter when driven into distortion.
